russia has once again spat in the face of all those world leaders who are trying to create the foundation for the end of the war and the conclusion of a peace agreement. On the night of August 27-28, the russian army launched 600 drones and 31 missiles. The vast majority of them were aimed at Kyiv and the surrounding area. It was the second largest air attack on the Ukrainian capital. There are currently 23 deaths, including four children (the youngest being 2 years old).

moscow has traditionally said it is attacking only military targets, and hitting civilian targets "is a consequence of the enemy's failed electronic warfare." However, after each such attack, international experts gather eloquent evidence of the crimes of the putin regime. Almost all attacks on Ukrainian cities do not go without hitting civilian objects and civilian casualties. Therefore, to explain this "unsuccessful defense of the enemy" is a fairy tale for the stupid. 
Special envoy of the President of the United States Keith Kellog commented on the night mass attack of the russian federation in Kiev: https://x.com/generalkellogg/status/1961070719342707017 "Last night, russia launched the second-largest air attack of the war, using 600 drones and 31 missiles. Targets? Not soldiers and weapons, but residential areas of Kyiv – undermined civilian trains, offices of missions of the EU and the UK, as well as civilians. As a result of the attack on Kyiv, the building of the EU Delegation to Ukraine was also damaged. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen commented: “Another night of ruthless bombing of russia hit civilian infrastructure and took the lives of innocent people. russia must stop the reckless shelling and agree to a just peace.” 
European Council President António Costa said: “The EU will not be intimidated. russia’s aggression only strengthens our resolve to support Ukraine and its people.” 
EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Maternova: “This is not a military operation. This is terror. And it touched the European Union.” 
This shelling shows that russia chooses war and terror, not real diplomacy for the sake of a peaceful settlement. Ukraine expects the reaction of the international community, in particular China, which calls for a ceasefire and non-expansion of the war. It is time to impose new tough sanctions against the russian federation, because the lack of consequences encourages moscow to continue the war. Only joint sanctions and diplomatic pressure on russia can force moscow to end its aggression. 
At the same time, the fake that the UK and the EU are preparing diversions to disrupt peace talks between russia and Ukraine is spreading. russian propaganda refers to the Slovak edition of Snovo. In fact, the article in Snovo does not contain any sources or evidence, and its author Ivo Shebestik repeats theses similar to the russian intelligence. 
Investigators at the Insider found (https://theins.ru/antifake/284303) that the text almost literally coincides with the publications of russian special services. The only difference is that the russian version featured “the United States, the EU and the UK”, and in the Slovak version, only the UK and the EU left. This fits into the new kremlin instruction “not to touch the United States” after a meeting in Alaska.

So, the stories about “sabotage” are ordinary fakes, which aims to shift responsibility to Western countries and divert attention from the crimes that russia is satisfied with in Ukraine.
