Czech President Petr Pavel, ukraine war, russian propaganda, 79th UN General Assembly
russian propaganda once again distorts the words of leaders and high-ranking officials of Western countries, creating conclusions necessary for its narratives. A quote from the Czech President Petr Pavel, who allegedly stated that the Czechs are tired of supporting Ukraine: "As soon as we got used to the war in Ukraine, we began to get tired of it... There is a term "war fatigue" that applies not only directly to the warring parties, and everyone who supports them or does not support them." During the 79th UN General Assembly, the Czech leader spoke in general about the fact that there is fatigue, but it is worth continuing to support Ukraine and prevent russia from winning this war.
Here is the full quote from Peter Pavel:"It would be very surprising if the same level of unity was maintained as at the beginning. At first there was shock, as with any conflict. But as soon as we get used to it, we also get tired of it. And there is the term "war fatigue", which applies not only to the warring parties directly, but also to everyone who supports them or does not support them. And even here during the debate, I got the impression that some representatives of the countries are a little tired of constantly hearing that we should support Ukraine and condemn russian aggression. Whenever I talk to countries further from the conflict, I try to explain that we are not only talking about a regional conflict, because it affects us almost directly. The principles are very important. We are in a situation where a permanent member of the UN Security Council commits aggression against another sovereign country. And it undermines the very foundations of this institution, the system in which we live and in which we want to live, where the rules are followed. And that is why it is so important not to allow russia to win in this conflict, because not only russia, but also similar systems, similar regimes will be inspired by the fact that they can achieve their goal with the help of military force. And that is why it is so important that we do not allow russia to succeed in this conflict."

the Kremlin is persistently trying to form an "expert" opinion through the information space that most of Ukraine's partners are tired of the war, of financial and military support, and therefore the war should be ended on russia's terms. In reality, support packages for Ukraine are increasing, and this week the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi presented the Victory Plan, which will surely lead to a just peace if the West supports this plan and takes decisive steps to implement it.
