On the eve of the Peace Summit in Switzerland (June 13-15, 2024), the russians are intensifying their efforts to disrupt this important historical event. Through various diplomatic and economic channels, moscow sends a signal that it is ready for negotiations for a complete end to the war. Russianfake.com explains why this is a big manipulation of the hopes of the democratic world to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine.

The truth: russian terrorist forces continue to attack Ukraine and do not stop for a minute. The combat zone stretches for more than 1,200 kilometers. Civilians, rescuers, and medics die and are seriously injured every day. At the same time, putin's entourage is trying to sell the rest of the world a "gesture of goodwill" about a ceasefire and peace talks. But the truth is that the kremlin is afraid of the success of the Peace Summit, which will gather leaders and representatives of about 80 countries of the world. All of them declared their support for the "Peace Formula" proposed by Volodymyr Zelenskyi based on the UN Charter. 
The recognition of the Ukrainian "Peace Formula" is very disadvantageous for the Kremlin, since then it loses the last diplomatic levers of influence and hope for the legitimization of terrorism of russian origin. That is why it is so important for russia to get ahead of the Summit with its "peace plan", which actually means freezing the war, legalizing all the evil done to Ukrainians, as well as the final appropriation of foreign territories. Ukraine has already gone through this three times. Between 2016 and 2020, peace talks took place in Belarus and France. Even earlier, in 1994, there was the Budapest Memorandum. But Russia did not adhere to any of those documents, and in the end completely ignored the work of diplomats, launching a full-scale invasion of an independent state. 
Conclusion: no document signed by the leadership of the kremlin is worth a chicken egg. Therefore, Zelenskyi's "Peace Formula" balances the global international order, compliance with laws and agreements, and on the other hand - arbitrariness, dictatorship and the normalization of crimes.
