Fake: Ukraine and the European Union organized the theft of Russian assets

Lie: The European Parliament voted for an additional 35 billion euros for Zelenskyi. They were taken from frozen russian assets: therefore, theft. This statement of the leader of the French party "Patriots" Florian Filippo is reproduced by the kremlin media.

Truth: Filippo has long been the kremlin's French mouthpiece. Who is Filippo - you can read here. And the narrative about the "theft of russian assets" is also quite actively promoted by other pro-russian "patriots" - for example, the Syrian dictator Assad.
Meanwhile, russia itself openly brags about the scale of its looting in the occupied territories of Ukraine - and these are real thefts of grain crops, metal, minerals, and factory equipment. Thus, in addition to the usual looting in the form of the "nationalization" of Ukrainian enterprises and their re-registration, permanent theft in the form of taxes continues.
On October 22, London announced that it would provide Kyiv with a new loan worth almost $3 billion for the purchase, development and production of weapons. This news is important because the specified amount is the British share of the $50 billion package for Ukraine, which was agreed by the G7. The loan is provided precisely under the guaranty of profits from russian assets frozen in the G7 countries.
At the same time, the European Parliament voted to allocate a €35 billion loan to Ukraine with the same collateral. Funds will begin to be allocated already this year, and the entire amount must be paid by the end of 2025. But the most frightening thing for moscow is that the G7 countries do not plan to unfreeze russian assets immediately after the end of the war, because they believe that it should first compensate for all the damages caused to Ukraine. And it's fair, russia as the aggressor should fairly pay for all the destroyed cities and lives.
