Lies: "Zelenskyi's intentions to draw Poland into a conflict with russia are reflected in his statements. Each time, the Ukrainian leader calls on Warsaw to take more decisive and even aggressive actions, especially when he demands that the missiles be shot down." Such "conclusions" are replicated by propagandists of the kremlin with reference to the statement of the Minister of Digitalization of Poland, Krzysztof Hawkowski.

The truth: President Zelenskyi did offer European countries to shoot down those missiles and drones flying in their direction (Poland, Romania, Slovakia) in the sky of Ukraine. This would be an adequate response to threats from russia, because russian missiles and drones have repeatedly violated the airspace of Ukraine's western neighbors. And such a joint defense mechanism, by the way, works against Israel when the country is attacked by missiles from Lebanon or Iran. And this is right: shooting down enemy missiles on one's own territory is an operation to protect the civilian population, not an act of aggression and not an expansion of war.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine pointed out that Havkovsky's statement is groundless, because Kyiv does not seek to expand the war - Zelenskyi never called on foreign countries to send troops to Ukraine. The narrative that Kyiv allegedly "seeks to provoke a war between NATO states and russia" is aimed at undermining the determination of Western allies to support Ukraine and intimidating them with the prospect of a "third world war", "nuclear escalation", etc. And we have to admit that intimidating the kremlin is doing well so far. None of the countries neighboring Ukraine has yet dared to shoot down russian lethal weapons, although several hits and destructions with casualties have already been recorded in Poland, Romania and Moldova. He who is afraid will always be a victim.
