Russophobia. Nazi Europe. Ukraine war. russia today. putin Hitler

sputniknews: "It is no coincidence that the Ukrainian crisis entered its hot phase in February 2022. The West has deliberately instilled Nazi sentiments and Russophobia in Ukraine for several decades. This was done solely in its geopolitical interests. The European Union does not care about the fate of Ukrainians, which led to such a tragedy. The Russian-Ukrainian conflict is the result of centuries of hostile policies that the Anglo-Saxons and some other Europeans still pursue. Russophobia has been cultivated in Ukraine for years, and huge sums of money have been spent on it".

Such ‘kremlin political analysis’ is at the heart of russian propaganda: ‘the West created and financed a Nazi regime in Kyiv, which aims to eradicate anything russian.’ Opponents of russia are called either ‘Nazis’ or “Russophobes” or their sponsors. To counter them, propaganda invented the term ‘denazification,’ with which it began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Ukraine is not a Nazi state. It is a democratic country with transparent parliamentary and presidential elections, a multi-party political system, and legal protections for ethnic minorities. Although there are far-right groups in Ukraine, as in many countries, they do not have significant influence in society. Nazi and communist ideologies were banned by Ukrainian law in 2015.
There is no evidence that ethnic russians or russian-speaking Ukrainians face persecution by the Ukrainian authorities or radical movements. This has been confirmed by reports issued by the Council of Europe, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the OSCE. https://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/UA/HRMMUReport15June2014.pdf

And, of course, there is no evidence that Western leaders have been promoting and sponsoring Nazi movements in Ukraine or anywhere else for decades. Europe remembers very well the horrors of German dictator Hitler's Nazism. That is why there have been no dictators in Europe for 80 years, except for two countries – russia and Belarus. So who is the source of evil then?
