pro-Ukrainian rallies. Ukrainians. deportation from the United States. russian fake

A number of pro-russian media outlets reported that pro-Ukrainian protests in the US were allegedly organised by a Ukrainian criminal network with branches in Chicago, Virginia and Pennsylvania. This network legalises Ukrainians in the states. They allegedly arrive in the US with tourist documents and stay there. For this violation of the law, Donald Trump plans to deport the protesters back home. But this ‘news’ is not true.

Neither Donald Trump nor anyone from his administration has made any such statements. It is noteworthy that almost none of the publications on this topic indicate the source of the information. Using the Osavul tool, Stopfake was able to identify that the first post on this topic appeared in the comments of several major russian propaganda channels.
The same user left the same message under several posts: "Chicago immigration police have started cancelling V-Verify and residency permits for Ukrainians participating in anti-Trump rallies".
However, the fact-checkers could not find any evidence that Chicago Immigration Police were actually planning any mass deportations of Ukrainians because of their participation in the rallies. SBC News also did not publish such news (this is not surprising, as it is an analytical portal about the sports betting industry). Most likely, the author of the comment made a mistake in the name and actually meant the international media network CBS News. But this media outlet also has no articles on this topic.
So, obviously, the propagandists have created a common fake in this way.
It is worth noting that Donald Trump has indeed recently expressed a desire to deport foreign students who participate in ‘illegal protests’ and to crack down on educational institutions that encourage these protests.

However, he was not talking about Ukrainians, but supporters of Palestine. In addition, Reuters recently announced the termination of the refugee programme for Ukrainians who have taken refuge in the United States as a result of russian aggression, which threatens about 240,000 Ukrainian citizens with deportation. However, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt later denied the news. Moreover, you will not find in reliable and official sources any evidence of the existence of organised networks of Ukrainian criminals in the United States conducting illegal activities.
