President Zelenskyi, russian fakes, graffiti in Brussels, streets of Brussels
Lie: russian propaganda is once again trying to promote the narrative that Ukraine is not expected in the European Union. As evidence, a photo of graffiti on one of the streets of Brussels with the image of Zelenskyi and the inscription "Please invite another bankrupt to the EU" is attached. The video is replicated by pro-russian Telegram channels.
Truth: there is no such graffiti on the streets of Brussels. Fact-checkers of the Ukrinform information agency established that opposite the wall where anti-Ukrainian graffiti was allegedly painted, there is a pet store called Zinneke&Kats. The owners of the pet store confirmed to the investigators that the video spread by propagandists is fake. They provided a video from June 25 that has no graffiti. So, this is another cheap fake, created by russians with the help of graphic editors.
This is far from the first case of "creation" of anti-Ukrainian graffiti fakes. Here is an example of a Euronews story: https://www.euronews.com/2023/02/16/fact-check-whats-behind-the-anti-zelenskyy-graffiti-popping-up-all-across-europe
In general, the process of integration of Ukraine and Moldova into the European Union provokes an aggressive reaction from russians. They stamp fakes one by one about how Europeans are not satisfied with this development of events and decisions of the EU authorities. Of course, little-known "experts" with a dubious reputation work on russian rubles. Their main messages are: "Ukraine does not deserve to be accepted into the European Union" or "Ukraine's entry into the EU will be a heavy burden for all Europeans" and the like. But to understand the reality, it is enough to look at the vote in the Council of the European Union and the statements of the European Commission, where Ukraine (as well as Moldova) has the consolidated support of the vast majority of EU member states.
All such attempts to discredit Ukraine look very shameful. Usual information terrorism, which is used by russia every day.
